The representative for Lindsay Lohan has confirmed the joyous news that the “Mean Girls” actor and her husband Bader Shammas have welcomed a son. The happy announcement was made in a statement sent to CNN on Monday.

“Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, are filled with joy as they welcome their beautiful and healthy son, Luai. The family couldn’t be happier,” the statement announced.

Back in March, Lohan shared the excitement of her upcoming baby in photos posted on her Instagram page.

In an interview with Allure magazine, the actress revealed that her “Freaky Friday” co-star and Oscar-winner, Jamie Lee Curtis, has been giving her parenting advice. Lohan shared, “I recently spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis, and she said, ‘You just bring the baby with you, and everything will be fine.'”

Reportedly, the two women are currently in discussions to co-star in a sequel to their 2003 Disney film.

Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas got engaged in 2021, and the actress previously surprised her fans by revealing that she was married when she posted a photo on her Instagram page, referring to Shammas as her “husband” in the caption.

Expressing her happiness and gratitude, Lohan wrote, “I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband.”

The newest member of their family marks Lohan and Shammas’s first child together.
