According to TMZ, medical professionals have discovered blood clots in both Tori Kelly’s lungs and legs, and they are currently investigating the possibility of clots around her heart. Billboard has reached out to Kelly’s representatives to seek confirmation and further details.
Tori Kelly, who is under the management of SB Projects, recently signed with Epic Records earlier in the year. She unveiled her first single, “Missin U,” along with its Y2K-inspired music video in March. The song creatively samples Craig David’s 2000 single “Fill Me In” and represents her first new music release since her albums “Inspired by True Events” in 2019 and “A Tori Kelly Christmas” in 2020. In 2019, she achieved Grammy recognition, winning the award for Best Gospel Album for “Hiding Place” and Best Gospel Performance/Song for “Never Alone.”
After the launch of “Missin U,” Tori Kelly expressed her enthusiasm for returning to touring in an interview with People. She revealed her heartfelt longing for the stage, recalling the heartbreak of having to cancel her world tour when COVID struck. Since then, she has been unable to go on tour, making it one of the most anticipated aspects of her future plans. While she couldn’t provide specific details at the moment, she eagerly looks forward to reconnecting with her fans and sharing her songs live, belting them out together with the audience once again.
